Sea spiders are marine arthropods of the order Pantopoda (lit. ‘all feet’), belonging to the class Pycnogonida, hence they are also called pycnogonids (/pɪkˈnɒɡənədz/; named after Pycnogonum, the type genus; They are cosmopolitan, found in oceans around the world. There are over 1,300 known species, with legs ranging from 1 mm (0.04 in) to over 70 cm (2.3 ft). Most are toward the smaller end of this range in relatively shallow depths; they can grow to be quite large in deep waters.
Sea squirts are sessile animals after their larval phase: they then remain firmly attached to their substratum, such as rocks and shells. There are 2,300 species of ascidians and three main types: solitary ascidians, social ascidians that form clumped communities by attaching at their bases, and compound ascidians that consist of many small individuals (each individual is called a zooid) forming colonies up to several meters in diameter.
Kingdom: Animalia Phylum: Chordata Subphylum: Tunicata Class: Ascidiacea Order: Stolidobranchia Family: Styelidae Genus: Symplegma These are encrusting colonial tunicate, growing as a loosely packed mass of oval zooids, embedded in a transparent tunic. The siphons are short, and apertures are oval, located on the dorsal surface. The branchial structure consists of four longitudinal vessels, with Two complete vessels, and two not reaching the branchial sac, & 2 reaching the dorsal laminae.

Velella is a monospecific genus of hydrozoa in the Porpitidae family. Its only known species is Velella velella, a cosmopolitan free-floating hydrozoan that lives on the surface of the open ocean. It is commonly known by the names sea raft, by-the-wind sailor, purple sail, little sail, or simply Velella. Like other Cnidaria, Velella velella are carnivorous. They catch their prey, generally plankton, by means of tentacles that hang down in the water and bear cnidocysts (also called nematocysts).
The Portuguese man o' war is a conspicuous member of the neuston, the community of organisms that live at the ocean surface. It has numerous venomous microscopic nematocysts which deliver a painful sting powerful enough to kill fish, and has been known to occasionally kill humans. Although it superficially resembles a jellyfish.
It is a marine organism consisting of a colony of hydroids found in the warmer, tropical and sub-tropical waters of the Pacific, Atlantic, and Indian oceans, as well as the Mediterranean Sea and eastern Arabian Sea. It was first identified by Carl Linnaeus in 1758, under the basionym Medusa porpita. The chondrophores are similar to the better-known siphonophores. The taxonomic class, Hydrozoa, falls under the phylum Cnidaria, which includes anemones, corals, and jellyfish.
These sea slugs, known as *G. atlanticus*, live in the open ocean, floating upside-down using surface tension and drifting with currents. Their blue tops blend with the water, while their silver undersides blend with sunlight from below. They feed on venomous creatures like the Portuguese man o' war, storing their stinging cells for self-defense. Handling these slugs can result in a painful sting.
Width to 20 cm. Bell hemispherical, slightly pointed with smooth to finely granulated surface. Mouth-arms with basal regions joined by membrane, tapering to blunt point. Length about equal to bell diameter, with many short lateral filaments and a long terminal filament (about 2/3 mouth-arm length). In some specimens filaments missing. Near-white bell with or without irregular dar (rd) brown spots, especially peripherally. Habitat: coastal, sometimes in brackish or silty waters.
Tethya is a genus of sea sponges belonging to the family Tethyidae. Members of this genus all have a spherical body form and some are known to be able to move at speeds of between 1 and 4 mm per day
Clionaidae is a family of demosponges which are found worldwide.[1] This family is known for parasitically boring holes in calcareous material such as mollusc shells and corals, using both chemical and mechanical processes.

Thylacodes squamigerus, common name the scaled wormsnail, is a species of sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Vermetidae, the worm snails. This species was previously known as Serpulorbis squamigerus. This species is often cemented into colonies. It has no operculum.
It has an elongated body. Its size varies between 7 to 10 cm (2.8–3.9 in) long, 1.8 to 2.5 cm (0.7–1.0 in) wide, excluding bristles. The body is made of 37 visible segments, each of them has a distinctive ocelli, and Small gills, white to deep brown, are present on both external sides of the back just before the bristles and on almost all the segments. The body is covered laterally with calcareous spines or setae, they have bristle aspect which are whitish, fine, sharp and venomous.
The chambered nautilus also called the pearly nautilus, is the best-known species of nautilus. The shell, when cut away, reveals a lining of lustrous nacre and displays a nearly perfect equiangular spiral, although it is not a golden spiral. The shell exhibits countershading, being light on the bottom and dark on top. This is to help avoid predators, because when seen from above, it blends in with the darkness of the sea, and when seen from below, it blends in with the light coming from above.
Sepiidae is a family of cephalopods in the order Sepiida.
Octopus is the largest genus of octopuses, comprising more than 100 species. These species are widespread throughout the world's oceans. Many species formerly placed in the genus Octopus are now assigned to other genera within the family. The octopus has 8 arms, averaging 20 cm long for an adult.
A squid is a mollusc with an elongated soft body, large eyes, eight arms, and two tentacles in the superorder Decapodiformes. Like all other cephalopods, squid have a distinct head, bilateral symmetry, and a mantle. They are mainly soft-bodied, like octopuses, but have a small internal skeleton in the form of a rod-like gladius or pen, made of chitin.
Holothuria leucospilota, commonly known as the black sea cucumber or black tarzan, is a species of marine invertebrate in the family Holothuriidae. It is placed in the subgenus Mertensiothuria making its full scientific name Holothuria (Mertensiothuria) leucospilota. It is the type species of the subgenus and is found on the seabed in shallow water in the Indo-Pacific.
Mantis shrimp, or stomatopods, are carnivorous marine crustaceans of the order Stomatopoda, branching from other members of the class Malacostraca around 340 million years ago. Mantis shrimp typically grow to around 10 cm (3.9 in) in length, while a few can reach up to 38 cm (15 in).A mantis shrimp's carapace (the hard, thick shell that covers crustaceans and some other species) covers only the rear part of the head and the first four segments of the thorax.
The Caridea, commonly known as caridean shrimp or true shrimp, are an infraorder of shrimp within the order Decapoda. This infraorder contains all species of true shrimp. They are found widely around the world in both fresh and salt water. Many other animals with similar names – such as the mud shrimp of Axiidea and the boxer shrimp of Stenopodidea – are not true shrimp, but many have evolved features similar to true shrimp.
Commonly known as glorious gun shrimp, British name Splendid snapping shrimp. The body length is about 2 to 3.5 cm, and the maximum carapace length is 1.4 cm. The body is lavender-brown, and there are two brown longitudinal spots on the back from the eyes to the tail fan, with a yellow longitudinal spot in the middle. The color is quite beautiful; Yellow to orange-brown, with dark fingertips, many long hairs on chelicerae, yellow front half of tail fan and brown back half; teeth above eyes.

The Dotillidae are a family of crabs with 59 species, nearly half of which are in the genus Ilyoplax. The two genera Scopimera and Dotilla are collectively the sand bubbler crabs, which leave conspicuous collections of sand pellets on sandy beaches across the tropical and subtropical Indo-Pacific.
The lavender-purple coloured is a Leucosid crab species native to the seas around Indonesia and the Philippines. The slow moving crab is sometimes captured for the pet trade, however there’s not much known about this species. I. cylindrus is probably a scavenger, it eats dead material. The name Lollipop crab is probably given due to the horizontal appendages on both sides of the fissured carapax of the crab. They are probably defensive structures, comparable to the spikes on other crabs.

Persephona punctata. Range/Geographical Distribution: North Carolina to the Gulf of Mexico. Habitat: Shallow, subtidal waters along beaches and bays. Description: A small crab with a round, globular shell that is pale yellow with red/purple irregular markings.
They are small crabs. They are seen feeding in the evening on low tide. The males and females differ in size and appearance. The large male crabs spent the longest time excavating their burrows compared to female and smaller male Uca annulipes crabs. Males are attractive because of their bright colored front arm and movements. They are quick to hide in their burrows at the slightest hint of danger. They are prey species of house crows.
Calcinus laevimanus is a species of hermit crab in the genus Calcinus found in the Indo-West Pacific region, the type locality being Hawaii.[1] It is also known as the blue-eyed hermit crab, zebra hermit crab, dwarf zebra hermit crab, left-handed hermit crab, Hawaiian reef hermit and other similar names.

Goniobranchus trimarginatus has a translucent white mantle covered with small irregular red spots and patches. At the edge of the mantle a dense band of white glands show through the skin and the mantle is edged with three thin bands, yellow, wine red and then at the extreme edge another thin white band. The gills and rhinophore clubs are translucent white with opaque white edging. The body reaches a length of 30 mm.
Slug is described as having a green body with black and cream spots. It has tall, thin parapodia with a black band along its parapodial edge and a submarginal orange band.[4] This species can be distinguished from other Indo-Pacific species by the white band found between the orange and black marginal bands.[2] E. marginata has both a sedentary and migratory form, with the sedentary form reaching up to 76 millimetres (3.0 in) in length, and the migratory rarely exceeding 25 millimetres (0.98 in)
